In order to use the down the hole drill bit correctly and ensure the drilling accuracy and service life of the drill bit, the following points should be noted:

1. Choose a down the hole drill bit based on the rock condition (hardness, abrasiveness) and the type of drilling rig (high wind pressure, low wind pressure). Different forms of alloy teeth and tooth arrangement methods are suitable for drilling different rocks. Choosing the right down the hole drill bit is key to achieving effective use
2. When installing a down the hole drill bit, the drill bit should be gently inserted into the down the hole impactor bushing. Do not forcefully collide it to prevent damage to the drill bit shank or bushing

3. During the process of bacterial rock formation, it is necessary to ensure sufficient air pressure of the down the hole drilling rig. If there is intermittent operation of the impactor or poor powder discharge from the borehole, the compressed air system of the down the hole drilling rig should be checked to ensure that there is no rock debris in the borehole during the drilling process

4. If metal objects are found to have fallen into the hole, they should be promptly extracted using a magnet or other methods to avoid damaging the drill bit
5. When replacing the drill bit, pay attention to the size of the drilled borehole. If the diameter of the drill bit is excessively worn but the holes have not been drilled yet, do not replace the drill bit with a new one to avoid jamming. Old drill bits with similar wear diameters that have been used can be used to complete the task
6. For early abnormal scrapping of down the hole drill bits, our company should be notified in a timely manner. The notification mainly includes 1) rock type and construction site; 3) Model of impactor used in conjunction, 4) Failure mode of drill bit (tooth breakage, tooth loss, drill bit head fragmentation, drill bit shank fracture, etc.), 4) Service life of drill bit (number of drilled meters), 5) Number of failed drill bits, 6) Number of drill bits drilled in meters during normal use (drill bits from our company and other manufacturers on site).
